Art on the Web

The internet's a good resource for anyone interested in the arts. There are websites dealing with specialist tools and materials, and many on-line galleries where artists can display and sell their work.
But, if you use the web to research a particular artist beware that the results are not always strictly accurate.... The worst offenders are websites where users can upload pictures, eg. Pinterest and FaceBook. I reckon that about 20% of photos on Pinterest are attributed to the wrong artist.

Art on the web

FaceBook has some wierd'n'wonderful
art-related groups, such as:
"I want to live in Chagall's paintings"
 "The Chainsaw Appreciation Society"...
It's also a good place to "meet" other
artists and share ideas in groups such as
 Harrow Art Society
